The 4th Quarter 2013 issue of Central Headlight will be mailed to all members on or about Friday, November 8. It’s another big issue that includes six major features including the lead story about the Harmon, New York passenger station. The issue contains: “Harmon Station Recollections”, “Incident at Amsterdam”, “Southern Ohio Freight Operations in 1950”, “NYC’s Rebuilt Troop Sleeper Express Cars”, “A winter trip to Lake Placid”, and “Prowling the Collinwood Back Shop in 1967”.
Be sure to look for the seven important inserts in the centerfold. You will find a membership renewal letter, a renewal form, a new member form, a 2014 calendar flyer, a 2014 NYCSHS Convention flyer and application and an invitation for consideration for nomination to a position on the NYCSHS Board of Directors. Be sure to read those and fill out and send in the renewal form. If you fail to renew you will miss out on all of the fun for the coming year. You may also go to our new and improved NYCSHS “Collinwood Shop” online store to renew. Just click on the “Store” button at the top of this page and renew now.
