On the front color cover, Class S-1b “Niagara” #6019 takes water from the track pan at Lydick, IN while heading the westbound Lake Shore Limited in 1953. The back cover shows the caboose of northbound Switch Run No. 151 at Brookville, IN in 1954. The Brookville station straddles the Whitewater Canal.
