The Society’s 2000 calendar is still available. Once again our calendar features paintings by the late Howard Fogg, and which were part of the collection gathered and published by the late John W. Barriger when he was the president of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie. On the cover the is New York Central train # 12, the “Southwestern Limited” at Staatsburg, NY DPA-2a PA-1 4201 leads the train. On the back cover is A-2a 9401 built for the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie in 1948, one of seven locomotives in what was the last steam order for both Alco and the New York Central.
